Peter Mark BA(Hons), Fellow CIPD, Dip IR

Peter has experience of working for a Business Process Outsourcing organisation as HR Leader / Head of HR. He has managed teams of 70 people and more, providing services to 6000 Private and Public Sector employees in businesses with turnovers in excess of £100 million.

His present expertise ranges across Organisational Development, Culture Change, Business Re-engineering, Employee Relations, and Employment Law advice.

Previously, Peter was HR Director within a £250 million, Engineering and Services business. The business provided services to major Oil, Chemical, Nuclear and Utilities. During this time he personally directed a number of successful TUPE transfers from ICI and subsequent divestment businesses on Teesside and Wilton .

Peter has a particular expertise in TUPE, from due diligence, through implementation to post TUPE culture blending and change management.

He has also been responsible for the design and implementation of reward linked performance management systems as well as for several "Improved business performance through people" initiatives.

He has designed and implemented HR Policies Procedures and Processes for many organisations.

Peter is an employee relations specialist, and has given advice and help in this area to organisations employing both blue and white collar workforces. He has given employment law advice to managers, and represented many organisations at Employment Tribunals.

He has been responsible for the strategic management, specification and installation of computerised HR management and storage systems.

His Directoral responsibilities have included several nominations for the management of Health, Safety and Environmental professionals and systems.

What Peter brings to GC Consultants is his capability to build and maintain an HR function capable of contributing effectively to achievement of the aims and objectives of any business.
